Sorting Search Results
Once you've completed a search, the results are displayed in the Search Results pane in the middle of the Meta Search Window. You can sort those search results by any of the values shown in the columns in the Search Results Pane. To do so, just click on the column name. The first click will sort the search results in ascending order (from a to z). If you click it a second time, it will sort the results in descending order (from z to a).
This can be handy if, for example, you're doing some research on tomato-like fruits and you need to pick up where you left off, so you want to find the last document you saved that contained the word "persimmon". To do so, you could just run a search for that word, and sort the results by the modification date by clicking on the Modified column once:
In this way, search results can be sorted by any metadata value that's shown in a search results column.
